Personalized Goal Achievement Coaching

Six sessions to help you define the life you want to create, powered by your business

The E-Myth Revisited by Michael Gerber is one of the top 100 business books of all time. In it, he tells the story of a struggling entrepreneur who realized the business she started doing what she loved - baking pies - had turned into a nightmare because she worked constantly and never seemed to get ahead. It’s full of practical wisdom and is a cautionary tale about how much of ourselves we tend to pour into our businesses.

When our businesses are small and growing, they are very much a mirror of ourselves. The power within us is the power that created them. If things start to unravel with us, the business starts to feel it, too.

  • Revenue stalls or (worse) dips

  • You waste time chasing ideas that don’t move the needle

  • You guess instead of following a process

Many entrepreneurs skip the step of defining their primary aim.

They create a great idea or have an awesome skill they want to make into a livelihood.

In his book, Gerber devotes an entire chapter to your “Primary Aim.” That’s not the reason your business exists…it’s what you really want out of life, and it informs how your business needs to support you - the person - in achieving your life’s aim.

You don’t live to serve your business - it’s really the other way around.

Whatever stage of business you are at, you can always take a step back and ground yourself in your primary aim. In fact, it’s always a work in progress, because each stage in life brings new opportunities for us to explore.

Through this private coaching program, I will work with you to define what it is you truly want from your life and your relationships, and re-frame your purpose within your business to create the life you truly want.

Are you ready to level up in the game of life? Then, you need a guide - and that’s what a coach does. I will help you get to the answers you have trouble seeing because you’re too close to things.

Workshops and Leadership Coaching

Action-based workshops and small group coaching with C-level leaders to help your business generate greater lift.

The six key areas of your business are like an airplane.

  1. Your cockpit is the leadership. It knows the destination and guides the plane to get there.

  2. Your products are the wings. If they are too short - as in under-performing or underdeveloped - your plane can struggle (or fail) to get lift.

  3. Marketing is your right engine. It understands the market and crafts the story that attracts your customers.

  4. Sales is your left engine. It works closely in understanding the customer, product, and story. Marketing invites the customer to the story and sales brings them into the fold. (Both marketing and sales support the products and help them fly).

  5. Overhead and Operations are the largest part of the plane - in this case, the body. If the body becomes too large, especially if the wings are too short, the plane gets heavy and, even if it gets in the air, it doesn’t fly well.

  6. Cash flow fills the tanks. If you don’t have fuel in the tanks, you aren’t going anywhere (unless it’s straight down!)

If any part of your plane isn’t running optimally, you risk a crash.

Using the Business Made Simple methodology, combined with my experience in teaching in a highly-ranked MBA program and my own experience in executive leadership in marketing and communications over a 27-year career, I work with leaders 1:1 and in teams to help them install proven systems and frameworks to get your plane back up in the air and heading toward its proper destination.
