Jeffrey Eaton is a murder mystery writer and author of the “Murder Becomes…” Series: Murder Becomes Manhattan (2014), Murder Becomes Miami (2015), Murder Becomes Mayfair (2018) and Murder Becomes Macau (2023).
Jeffrey combined his life-long love of mysteries – Hardy Boys, Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie – with his passion for travel and architecture. He created a new world featuring his quirky protagonist, Dalton Lee, a world-renowned architect who solves murders in locations around the globe (all of which begin with the letter “M”). Lee is joined by his staff at the architecture firm - who are themselves an interesting mix of characters.
By day, Jeffrey is Jeff Herrington – a successful communications consultant and writing coach. In this full interview from Episode 3 of Choice Wisdom, Jeff shares his journey into the world of fiction, his thoughts on why one would choose to write under a nom de plume, and how anyone can put a foot upon the path of writing novels.
